teak shutters...

Here are the wonderful teak shutters as seen in a previous posting..."more treasures"

They have been fitted with a glistening new mirror...

...and I am so thrilled with the result!

They look so sweet on the bank of French door windows in my shop.

...so sweet, in fact, that they found a new home before I could even post this story!

They will be missed but this also means I am off to tackle a new project...Yippee!!

Easter in my little shop...

Every home is as wonderfully individual as the home owner...
so I try to fill my shop with the perfect selection of bunnies that can grace any Easter table...

Sweet vintage inspired sugared bunnies glisten in the sunlight...

...but what if you style is more rustic?

Well, these simple crazed bunnies reveal hints of terra cotta that conjure images of Tuscany.

If you are a true traditionalist...

and the only bunny for you is the one Beatrix Potter created with a charcoal pencil and paper...then these little fellas are for you!

It's like Peter Rabbit bounced right off the beach
and in the front door.

He's my little beach bunny!!!

What if you strive to find something truly unique for your home...?

Well, here is a charming new approach to decorating for Easter!

Isn't he handsome!!!

Beautiful dried lavender covered eggs...

Whimsical decoupaged carrots...

...and a vintage tea stained bunny ready to be loved!

It is fun to decorate for the holidays and fill your home with happiness and joy.

I hope you will also fill your heart with the truth that is Easter.

May God bless you and your household this Easter weekend and for many years to come.

bunnies in the garden...

Here on Sanibel Island...when it is bright, sunny and cheerful everyday it can be hard to imagine that the seasons ever change. Sunny, breezy and 80 degrees is hard to beat...but I do miss the excitement that accompanies the arrival of a new season. Easter is upon us and it feels more like mid-summer here on Sanibel. Dressing the shop for the upcoming holiday allows me to feel, at least a little, like change is in the air.

Here is a peek at Easter in my little shop...

I will never be too grown to play!

This section is a very garden inspired version of Easter...the bunny bounced right out of the yard and into the shop.

More images from around the shop are still to come!

I hope wherever you are...and however you celebrate...Easter brings hope, love and renewal into your heart and your life.
