cobalt blue

Fall is such a beautiful and colorful season! Several years ago I photographed a home for a possible article. I was always taking scouting shots just in case an editor was looking for something that I had in my photo files. Although this home wasn't published, I think it's so lovely that I just had to share!!! And to me it perfectly represents fall...beautiful and colorful!

I discovered this home sort of by accident. The home owner came into my Sanibel Island shop and commissioned me to make this wreath. The scale is hard to tell. It's 3 feet across! That's a lot of hydrangeas and sunflowers.

Cobalt and copper are a spectacular pairing for fall. The addition of vibrant yellow sunflowers makes this cheerful kitchen perfection!
Welcome Fall...

picture time

I have been blessed to be able to share my passion for decorating, collecting, cooking and gardening through photographs on my blog and in numerous magazines. But I was recently asked to photograph a shop for an advertisement. It was a blast!!!

It was a bit of a challenge to incorporate all 30 vendor's wares into just a handful of images.
There are vintage coastal and nautical treasures...

Several vendors have unique mid-century modern
accessories and furniture.

Local artists also display their incredible works from paintings, photography, jewelry, glass and so much more!!!

mercato

I discovered a wonderful shopping adventure. It's called the Venice Mercato...and it is amazing! If you love all things vintage with a coastal vibe, this is the place for you. I am approaching a year of being in my new surroundings and I am still nesting. I would like to share a few treasures I brought home from my shopping extravaganza...

I can't wait to go again!!! If you are ever in he area you should visit.
to visit their Facebook page.
Enjoy...
