Never Forget...

 
Today is a day to remember those who died in the attacks of September 11th...
Today is a day to pray for those who lost loved ones...
Today is a day to remember those soldiers who bravely fought and still fight for this country...
Today is a day to pray for military families who have lost a precious family member...
Today is a day to be thankful for the freedoms we all hold so dear.

The attacks of September 11th were intended to break our spirit. Instead we have emerged stronger and more unified. We feel renewed devotion to the principles of political, economic and religious freedom, the rule of law and respect for human life. We are more determined than ever to live our lives in freedom.
 
Today is a day for hope.
But most of all...
Today is a day we should never forget.

    It's so hard to realize that it's been 11 years already. I can still feel the pain, the betrayal I felt as I walked into the room and saw the TV that very sad morning!
    The fear I felt when I realized it was an airplane... My brother was flying for Delta ( now a ground manager in NYC) ... the not knowing. It is all so real still, so tangible, so fresh!
    My prayers to those who still suffer, and feel the loss of loved ones.
    We are stronger!!!!

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It is hard to believe that it has been 11 years. I'm glad your brother is okay. My prayers join yours for all those in need of comfort.
