garden inspired

Recently I styled a guest bedroom for a client and dear friend. It was a wonderful project. I was very pleased to be able to photograph the room and write about the transformation for print. I knew it would warm the heart of my friend to see this precious room in a magazine. I was so happy to be able to surprise her!
Here are some extra images that didn't make the article...

This room has so much character. It's a little guest bedroom tucked under the eaves of the second story of the home. It overlooks a beautiful garden. This was the perfect inspiration for the makeover.

The room's walls are pale blue with white trim, the furniture is a mix of white wicker and metal and the linens are blue and white. I added pale yellow and green bedding and accessories...

...mixed in some vintage treasures...

...and some beautiful dried flowers.

The garden theme is echoed throughout.

Birdhouses and plants...

garden statues

and tiny hand tools.

This little room is as cute as can be.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures!
